URL targeting and traffic allocation
Decide which pages qualify and how visitors are assigned to variants.
URL targeting supports exact, contains, and regular-expression matching. Preview representative URLs before launch so the experiment neither misses intended pages nor leaks onto unrelated ones.
Fixed allocation divides eligible visitors according to variant weights. Edit weights while the experiment is not running, and keep them balanced unless you have a clear risk reason. Assignment is deterministic: a returning visitor remains in the same variant, preventing cross-contamination. Variants cannot be deleted while a test is running.
